What You'll Do:

  • Provides overall leadership for the daily operations of our talented design team. This includes:
  • Managing designers' time in collaboration with the Agency Operations team.
  • Discussing delegation of projects with the Creative Director/Associate Creative Director.
  • Estimating the scope of new projects.
  • Project manages complex creative projects, and motivates the Creative team to deliver quality work. on-time & on-budget, and communicates effectively with the Client Services team & clients.
  • Matrix manages (trains and oversees) Client Services Producers when they are PMing simple and/or overflow creative projects.
  • Provides hands-on design for new business and existing client presentations when support is necessary.
  • Leads innovation of the creative production practice:
  • Process development/updates.
  • Productization.
  • Tool adoption.
  • Introducing new Paid & Organic asset types.
  • Forming new relationships with external creative resources, both domestic and global.

Experience You'll Need:

  • BA in Graphic Design/Visual Communication, similar degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years focusing on the creative resourcing (internally and externally), project management and oversight of Photoshoots, Video Shoots, Print Production, Out of Home, Multi-Channel Digital, campaigns.
  • 3+ years of people management.
  • 1+ years at a creative advertising agency.
  • Expertise in project management software (WorkFront skills preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly and effectively communicate and present cross-functional solutions & recommendations to the client at the C-Level.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional groups and client stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively prioritize your own and others' tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven atmosphere.
  • Understand and analyze input, synthesizing large volumes of data & complex questions into strategic decisions that meet the prospect and client goals.
  • Financial acumen as it pertains to balancing client success, employee engagement, and agency performance.
  • Ability to work autonomously.

This position will be based out of our headquarters in San Diego, CA.
