The Waupun Area School District is seeking substitute teachers for all grade levels at all schools for the 2022-23 school year. We will continue on-going recruitment for substitutes throughout the year. The Waupun Area School District is a 4K-12 school district serving a population of 1900 students in South Central Wisconsin. Located conveniently on Hwy 151, Waupun is only 45 minutes north of Madison and 20 minutes south of Fond du Lac. WASD is home to four schools, including a charter school in Fox Lake. The Waupun Area School District consists of Meadow View Primary School (grades 4K-1), Rock River Intermediate School (grades 2-6), the Junior/Senior High School (grades 7-12), and SAGES Charter School (Fox Lake, grades 4K-6). A valid teaching license is required for qualified applicants. The District may consider sponsoring selected candidates who have a Bachelor's degree with obtaining their substitute teaching license. The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or illegal substance in the workplace in compliance with Policy 3122 throughout his/her employment in the District. It is a requirement that all staff members serve as a positive role model for students.
