Salary: $600 - $700 a week (depending on experience)

Job Type: Seasonal, June 5 – July 28, 2023 (except the week of July 4)

Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday

ISSA is searching for an individual to run our summer camp program. This is a seasonal position that has the potential to turn into a permanent position as enrichment and camp program manager.

ISSA offers its summer camp program starting Monday June 5, 2023 until Friday July 28, 2023, with an exception of the Independence Day week - July 3-7, 2023, for a total of 7 weeks. The camps are offered Monday-Friday, 9a-3p. The Summer Camp Administrator will be expected to be present from 8:00a - 4p, for 40 hours per week.

An individual in this position is responsible for ensuring ISSA’s Camps run efficiently by initiating, developing and maintaining a positive camp atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all registration and enrollment required documents; communicate requirements and expectations with parents.
• Provide excellent customer service to parents; answer phones; provide information regarding policies and procedures; process registrations and payments.
• Maintain reports and logs on camper behavior incidents, parent concerns, injuries, medical information, and supply needs. Act swiftly in emergency situations.
• Order and organize supplies and snacks; co-facilitate staff meetings; assume responsibilities for logistics.
• Open, close, and secure the facility
• Serve as a positive leader, modeling and upholding the Code of Conduct and influencing others to help maintain discipline and positive attitude within the program.
• Report to School Director and CEO

Education, Experience, or Certification

• Must be 21 years of age or older at the start of employment.
• Bachelor’s degree
• 1-2 years’ experience in childcare or school, or in an administrative position
• Current certification in First Aid and CPR or the ability to obtain one during onboarding is required.
• Experience working with children is preferred.
