Easterseals Central and Southeast Ohio, Inc. will be hosting its annual Summer Day Camp in partnership with Franklin County Department of Job and Family Services and Southwestern City School District from mid-June through early August. We are looking to hire talented youth advisors who will actively assist school age students with arts and crafts, physical education, and social emotional learning activities.

JOB DUTIES:

• Assist in daily classroom activities such as artwork, music, free play/physical education, snack time, and any other duties as requested.
• Follow operational rules and regulations as required by the Franklin County Department of Job and Family Services
• Supervise and assist the campers to ensure their safety and comfort in outside play, bathroom needs, waiting periods after camp, and any other duties as directed.
• Assist in operational activities such as camp materials preparation, correspondence to parents, answering phones, and other duties as directed.
• Assist with the routine cleaning of the program areas and perform any other needed duties as directed by the School Age Programs Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience working with children in a school age or summer camp setting
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to function as a team player
• Strong time management skills
