- Serves as SkyWest’s primary point of contact for all aspects of AA operations at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW)
- Advocates the airline’s best interest for safe, reliable and durable ground operation
- Charged to identify any hurdles to safety and top operational performance involving gate assignments, aircraft towing, related AOA issues, and crew movement.
- Serves as centralized point of contact for SkyWest’s operational departments and coordinates communication and updates to SkyWest OCC
- Partners with mainline and other regionals carriers to plan and execute strategies for irregular operations and service recovery
- Responsible to arbitrate and audit flight delay code challenges for all departments based on root cause analysis
- Ensure direction provided from ramp tower meets SkyWest safety, operational, and policy standards
- Represent SkyWest at airport meetings, conference calls, daily briefings, and other airport projects and initiatives as assigned
- Previous airline ground operational experience. (Large hub experience strongly preferred)
- Previous airline operational leadership experience (preferred)
- Working knowledge of DFW airfield and ground operations. (preferred)
- Experience with AA network systems and operational tools (preferred)
- Proven ability to effectively communicate to a variety of internal and external work groups
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate under time critical stressful situations
- Strong knowledge of airline performance metrics and nomenclature
- Basic understanding of crew scheduling, rest and related regulations
- Ability to provide initial and ongoing proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Possess all necessary credentials to rent vehicles and obtain airport credentials if needed
- Sitting at a computer for extended periods of time
- This is a full-time position, starting at $20.00 an hour
