Position Details
Under general supervision is considered a working supervisor. Duties include cleaning assigned building by mopping, buffing, stripping/waxing floors, cleaning classrooms, cleaning restrooms, working as a floater when others are absent from work. The supervisor is responsible for planning work assignments and inspecting the work of others.
- Distributes keys and assignments for daily duties. Cover areas for absent employees.
- Make sure employees have supplies and necessary equipment.
- Supervise employees make sure job is being performed, if they need assistance.
- Performs above listed daily duties of making sure restrooms, carpets, flooring, are kept clean. Empty trash, clean all assigned areas, sanitize carpet areas.
- Performs special projects such as graduation, etc. Prepare restrooms, wax floors and other duties in preparation of special events.
- Collects all keys, make sure custodial closets are locked and secured.
- Responds to emergency cases such as water leaks and other emergencies as they arise.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

High School diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent and specialized or technical training.
Valid Texas Driver’s License preferred.

- Applies a mix of basic skills and advancing capabilities in the job function or discipline to complete varied tasks and assignments.
- Sets the standard for principles, methods and procedures in an area and determines long-term direction under his/her guidance. May involve a level of expertise that is recognized both internally and nationally as top notch in the field.
- Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications.

More than three (3) years, including five (5) years related experience.
Reach and grasp objects.
Stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, lift or crawl.

Exposure to moderate risk of accident.
Prolonged standing and/or walking.
Handling moderate weight objects.
