SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
The Supply and Inventory Analyst is responsible for establishing and maintaining all planning parameters and determining what we need to buy, how much and when. This role directly impacts material availability and thus owns fill rate as well as on time delivery. The Sr. Supply Planning Analyst has to balance service with inventory cost and therefore will play a key role in balancing total inventory to find opportunities for slow moving inventory and materials reaching expiry.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS*

  • Assign SKU ranking and ensure we are consistently healthy on A ranked materials
  • Setup planning parameters for all materials
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure we are within limits and work closely with sales to find outlets for excess and obsolete inventory
  • Lead bi-weekly SLOB process with Sales
  • Own all supply planning and inventory workbooks
  • Play key role in developing planning tools within ERP
  • Root cause and action plan against key metrics, including On Time Delivery and Fill Rate
  • Work closely with production planning on status of materials and any opportunities to pull in deliveries to balance out plan
  • Work directly with Purchasing team to prioritize buying needs and share challenges with supply, vendors, etc…
  • Manage special projects as needed
  • Any additional responsibility deemed necessary by management

DIMENSIONS, TASKS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Work hands on to develop and strengthen planning process to enable a more end to end model that drives out duplicate work and multiple touches within the supply chain. Build trust internally and externally by demonstrating supply chain reliability and agility. Bring to life a robust planning process that takes key inputs from S&OP and converts to a plan that maintains healthy inventory levels while reducing non-performing inventory.

WORK EXPERIENCE*

  • 3-5 years related experience in Supply Chain
  • Experience in a supply role preferred
  • Very strong excel skills required
  • Demonstrated ability to be a change agent
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to present complex information to senior leadership and obtain alignment
  • Ability to work cross functionally
  • Experience working in an ERP system a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
