Principal Accountabilities:
- Operate and monitor equipment to track and relocate salt product
- Load and unload railcars and trucks
- Communicate with track drivers to line up trucks for loading
- Open, close hatches and lower gates, Prepare, secure and operate rail cars
- Operate front end loaders to load trucks or to feed a hopper with product while operating a frontend loader at a rate that meets or exceeds the hoisted supply of product
- Continually monitor the stockpile being built, directing contract trucks to dump locations
- Manipulate the radial stacker for new rows of stockpile as directed
- Maintain 200T bin operations with salt to meet the needs of the rail/ truck load schedule
- Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Other duties as assigned

- Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
- Must be able to understand and communicate in English(verbal/written)
- High school degree or GED Equivalent
- Must be able and willing to perform with or without reasonable accommodation: working underground, which involves bending, kneeling, climbing, crawling, twisting, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Able to work overtime, holidays, nights, weekends and different shifts with advance notice
- Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include working underground, heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) which may include a harness in some circumstances
- Forklift experience
- Experience working in a production or plant environment
- Computer skills
