This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual looking for a full time Monday- Friday position as a Surgical Coordinator in the Palm Beach area for 3 busy ENT surgeons.

The individual is expected to work independently, efficiently and effectively perform administrative duties, patient counseling under the direction of the office manager and physician. These duties include the ability to greet patients in a professional manner, contacting and scheduling prospective patients. Insurance verification and reconciliation of monies, scheduling of appointments for surgery, assurance that all test results are available for physician review and the surgical facility as well as the proper maintenance of work flow.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 1 year medical surgical procedure scheduling experience. Minimum 1 year medical clinical experience a plus. Working knowledge of medical terminology. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills. The ability to prioritize and handle a high volume of patients. Referral and insurance company knowledge. Bilingual Spanish a plus.

Physical Demands:

Coordination, manual, and physical dexterity sufficient to properly and adequately use various items of office equipment as required of the position or directed by the Manager. The position may involve sitting, standing, bending, and stooping. The incumbent must also be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.

Salary range start with experience $19.00.
