We currently have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced SVP of Cl inical Operations!
Responsibilities:

The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Clinical Operations is responsible for ensuring clinical excellence and efficiency. The SVP of Clinical Operations reports to the Chief Medical Officer and is a critical member of the Medical Group Leadership Team. This role is an enterprise level role with oversight responsibilities across the medical group and multiple business unites. This role will lead the Clinical Center of Excellence which includes Patient Safety, Practice Transformation, Innovation, Clinical Value, Clinical Services, documentation education and more. The SVP of Clinical Operations partners with each service line to deliver against clinical outcome, clinical efficiency, and clinician experience objectives.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process driven leadership with a proven track record of successful project management including driving KPIs and influencing without authority.
  • Ability to work across and collaborate with multiple departments with complex portfolios.
  • Lead clinical and business leaders within the CCOE and organization, including various clinical functional departments.
  • Provides oversight and leadership to the Clinical Center of Excellence (CCOE) including the following functions:
    • Practice Transformation, including field-deployed lean-certified clinical services
    • Documentation Education
    • Clinical Research
    • Clinical Innovation and Virtual Health
    • Clinician Experience, including onboarding and development
    • Quality Registry
    • Patient Safety Organization
  • Champion and support the National Clinical Advisory Board
  • Accountable for the clinical outcome strategy. This includes defining the appropriate outcome metrics, ensuring data collection and reporting of those metrics, setting objectives informed by industry benchmarks and holding teams accountable to achieving those objectives.
  • Provides input and assist with preparation on annual operation budget, goals and objectives.
  • Ensures all staff adheres to and follows all safety standards and healthcare regulations
  • Regular interaction with external stakeholders such as payors, health systems, Joint Venture boards, other medical groups, and societies will be needed
  • Reads and abides by the company’s code of conduct, ethics statements, employee handbook(s), policies and procedures and other corporate mandates, including participation in mandatory training programs
  • Reports any real or suspected violation of the corporate compliance program, company policies and procedures, harassment or other prohibited activities in accordance with the reporting policies of the company
Qualifications:

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.


Education/Experience

  • 10 years experience in physician practice management or healthcare management with extensive physician interface at a multi-site level.
  • Expereince in Development and implementation of quality improvement programs
  • Master’s degree in health-related field strongly preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite
