Responsibilities
Accountable for the strategic development, creation, and ongoing operation of leave of absence administration to meet the business needs and support the approximately 150,000 employees at CommonSpirit Health. Responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance (federal/state) practices, as well as administration of leaves provided by organizational policies and applicable collective bargaining agreements. Accountable for the management of day-to-day operations of a fully remote staff, including performance metrics, to effectively promote a positive employee experience. Must demonstrate a commitment to excellence through management of customer service and staff development programs. Works with HR Operations, Support Services. and Centers of Expertise leadership to develop strategies for continuous process improvement and achieving budget objectives.

A compensation range of $106,000 - $131,000 is the reasonable estimate that CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Responsabilities:
- Accountable for the overall operations of the leave of absence administration including Short-Term Disability, FMLA, organizational and represented employee leaves. Ensures compliance with legislative and policy requirements for leave of absence. Continuously monitors for state and federal changes and facilitates administrative changes with key stakeholders.
- Business leader for the Compliance Analysts, trending and analytics. Analyzes leave of absence usage, trends and business days lost and makes improvements to the service delivery strategy while considering financial and employee impacts.
- Develop & implement procedures and KPIs to ensure adherence and compliance with expected turnaround times. Ensures work is completed in the most cost effective manner and with the right resources.
- Partners with HR Operations leaders to ensure a consistent, collaborative ADA, Worker’s Compensation, and interactive process.
- Coordinate fluidly with division partners in HR Centers of Excellence to ensure business continuity and remove redundancy in business functions
- Responsible for performance management, hiring, employee retention, and growth. Provides mentoring and guidance to drive process improvements and close performance gaps.
- Ensures that the systems and technology infrastructure are sufficient to meet the need and are leveraged to optimize efficiency and effectiveness by partnering with IT network and development teams.
- Develop and implement best practice Leaves of Absence policies that support employee and business needs, while collaborating with the Benefits team to ensure appropriate integration of said policies with other programs.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years relevant work experience or a combination and/or experience that demonstrates the required minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities as outlined in the job description.- Minimum of 5 years leave administration management
- Strong knowledge of technology solutions and workflows related to leave management.
- Proven track record in management role, including the ability to improve processes, and workflows.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive employee information and adhere to strict data privacy standards.
- Advanced level of Microsoft Package (especially Excel) or Google Workspace.
- Must thrive in a fast-paced environment contributing to positive culture.
- Highly engaged and employee focused with strong demonstration of collaboration across departments
