CACI, Inc is seeking a Junior System Administrator to support Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Corona. We are seeking a motivated, mission oriented Junior Sys Admin to support the Marine Ammunition Knowledge Enterprise project.


What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Assists in the coordination of various teams testing and evaluating for the development of design and its implementation of the best output.

  • Manages and monitors all installed systems and infrastructure for the organization to be in line with company guidelines.

  • Installs, configures, and tests operating systems, application software, and system management tools.

  • Ensures the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability.

  • Plans and implements system automation as required for better efficiency.

  • Collaborates with other professionals to ensure high quality deliverables within organization guidelines, policies, and procedures.

  • Analyzing server/systems infrastructure reports to determine inefficiencies and problems.

  • Managing project timelines, budgets, and documentation.

  • Monitoring systems and networks for viruses, malfunctions, and errors.

  • Troubleshooting technical issues and developing effective solutions.

  • Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in technology, protocols, and best practices.

  • Ensuring data is stored securely and backed up regularly.

  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, networking, and system issues when they arise.

  • Replacing and upgrading defective or outdated components when necessary.

  • Researching and recommending new approaches to improve the server infrastructure.

  • Providing technical support when requested.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Relevant Degree or Diploma in Information Systems or Information Technology.

  • Microsoft MCSE certification or similar.

  • Experience administering server-side technology and networked computing systems.

  • Familiarity with SQL and database operations.

  • Ability to prioritize a wide range of workloads with critical deadlines.

  • Availability outside of working hours to resolve emergency issues promptly.

  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Patient and professional demeanor, with a can-do attitude.

  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$75,100.00 - $154,100.00
