Description:
Concept Solutions is looking for System Administrator supporting the acquisition, installation and implementation of the Command, Control, and Communications Network (C3) supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position will become part of a team supporting the network deployment and operations under the FAA’s Office of Security and Hazardous Materials Safety (ASH).
The System Administrator will support the acquisition, installation and implementation of the C3 network throughout the FAA. Working in direct support of the IT lead and Project Team (led by an FAA project lead), this position will be responsible for all layers of the OSI infrastructure within C3 domain, to include the development and implementation of the network, system engineering, troubleshooting, updates, patching and coordination with vendors.

• Security scanning, reporting and remediation.
• Work with the System Owner, Information System Security Officer to identify risks in the environment and develop controls and tests for compliance and audit purposes
• Upgrade Tenable Log Correlation Engine (LCE) software
• Configure and upgrade ArcSight appliance events
• Windows Event Collector (WEC) architecture
• Exchange server administration
• Perform daily administration, documentation, and operation of Windows servers in an enterprise environment
• Develop strategic and tactical solutions on the network following enterprise and security best practices
• Server patching o Workstation patching
• Environments configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting
• Create, maintain, document and implement standards for server configurations, applications and operating systems
• Storage allocation and configuration o DNS setup and routing
• Servers (Virtual Machines) provisioning/deprovisioning
• Disaster Recovery (DR) and High Availability (HA) setup and support
• SQL Server backups and configuration o Perform daily administration, documentation, and operation of Windows servers in an enterprise environment
• Occasional on call as tier 2 support may be required

Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and pass a background investigation and be permitted to access PII and other sensitive information being stored in or processed on government systems. US citizenship is required.

• Experience – In prioritized order (expertise in some or several areas):

• Hyper-V or VMware o NetApp or related technology
• F5 Load balancer or related technology
• Windows Active Directory
• Windows Group Policy (GPOs)
• Windows Event Collector (WEC) architecture
