Job description
The applicant must be self-motivated, self-disciplined, with good communications skills, and a demonstrated ability to work within a multifunctional, multidiscipline team. The candidate will be required to demonstrate flexibility and an ability to coordinate with multiple suppliers and customers to achieve a common goal.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Support the design and development of the systems.
- Prepare status and technical reports as required
- Support the system validation and verification
- Generate and participate in formal documentation reviews.
- Work within stringent development processes and guidelines.
- Adhere to exacting quality, integrity and ethical standards.
Experience with the following is required for this position;
- Systems development experience with a multi-discipline team.
- Requirements capture, flow-down, validation and verification
- System certification experience (TSO, PMA, TC, or STC)
- Standard Lab equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Power Meters, Power Supplies.
- MOPS and Qual Test development
- RTCA MOPS and DO-160 ENV/EME Qualification testing
- DO-254, DO-178C, ARP4754A product and process development standards
Experience with any of the following is a plus but not specifically required:
- Program scheduling, earned value and metrics reporting
- Experience with decomposition of requirements from Airbus Directives (ABDs) and Boeing D6
- ALM suite of tools (JAMA, JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, etc.)
- Architecture development with tools like EA or similar tool
- Model Based Develoment experience
- Familiar with Test development using Labview and TestStand software
The candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment with changing priorities. In addition the following attributes are highly desirable:

- High level of self-motivation and dependability.
- Cooperation - will foster teamwork across the organization.
- Flexibility – must be able to manage unplanned events while maintaining and controlling scope

- Judgment - will be able to make quick and well-informed decisions, even under fast pace or high pressured situations.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
