Position Overview:
This role will be responsible for designing, deploying, configuring cloud-based resources in Microsoft cloud technologies. Support day to day Microsoft cloud operations and work on cloud-based projects. Support and collaborate with software developers using agile software development.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain Microsoft Azure Infrastructure
  • Maintain Microsoft Azure Active Directory and Domain Services
  • Maintain Microsoft Azure Storage Services
  • Administer Microsoft 365 Applications and Services
  • Administer Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps and Endpoint
  • Administer Microsoft Intune
  • Administer Microsoft Power Platform (Apps, Automate, BI)
  • Maintain Meraki network equipment including firewalls, switches and wireless
  • Maintain and administer Microsoft Windows Server and SQL
  • Support data warehouse, applications, and agile software development
  • Help create and maintain policies, procedures, network documentation
  • Help support Help Desk on complex issues across all US time zones
  • Help administer cybersecurity systems, applications, and tools

Job Requirements:

  • Four to six years of strong experience in Microsoft Cloud technologies: Microsoft 365, Azure, Azure Networks, Azure AD, Exchange, SharePoint
  • Two to four years working in a DevOps capacity supporting developers in agile software development, deployment, automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code
  • Four to six years of strong experience managing Windows servers, networks, SQL and traditional on-premise Microsoft technologies
  • Four to six years of experience in administering cybersecurity systems:
  • Email security
  • Endpoint security
  • Security Appliances
  • Enterprise Mobility
  • Patch Management
  • SIEM

Education Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in an applicable professional, business, or technical discipline (preferred)
  • Cloud certifications are a plus (Microsoft preferred)

California Applicants:
Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 annually plus ESPP and Bonus, subject to experience and geolocation.

The base salary range for this role’s listed level is currently$120,000-$140,000 USD annually for Colorado, Washington, and New York City residents only. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data.

Salary range represents the low and high end of Edison Energy's salary range for our Systems Engineer position. Salary is one part of Edison Energy's Total Compensation Package.
