Oasis Systems has an exciting opportunity for a full time
Systems Engineer to support testing of naval Unmanned Surface Vessels (USV) in San Diego, CA.
LOCATION: Navy Information Warfare Center, Pacific (NIWC-PAC), San Diego, CA
JOB STATUS: Full time
TRAVEL: At-sea testing may sometimes require up to 60-hour work weeks. Some travel may be required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
SECURITY CLEARANCE:Must be able to obtain secret clearance
EDUCATION: HS required; bachelor’s or master’s degree in an engineering field desired.

EXPERIENCE LEVEL:Minimum five years experience with ocean systems engineering.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
- Five or more years of Systems Engineering experience.
- Three or more years of Ocean Engineering experience.
- Three or more years of experience conducting ocean test and evaluation of maritime systems.
- Strong administrative skills, especially with MS Office products.
- Ability to embark on Navy ships and small boats to support at-sea test events.
- Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support test & evaluation of large Unmanned Surface Vessels and Unmanned Underwater Vehicles.
- Develop, integrate, and test payload systems for unmanned systems.
- Provide systems engineering support for improvements and upgrades to autonomous vessels.
- Develop programmatic documentation for unmanned systems.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience with unmanned or autonomous systems.
- Experience with navy test & evaluation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
At-sea testing may sometimes require up to 70-hour work weeks.
