The Talent Sourcing Specialist is responsible for developing a qualified candidate pool for positions throughout the Central Maine Health Care organization. You will work with the Talent Acquisition Recruiters to design and execute sourcing campaigns for job families, and will be responsible for creative sourcing for job families. Talen Acquisition support for hard-to-fill positions and urgent assignments will also be part of this position.

This position will bring innovative thinking to broadening the qualified applicant pool for current and future positions, using the most innovative current social media, technology as well as existing approaches of job fairs, college and community outreach. This position is a hands-on role, using existing applicant tracking software together with emerging external candidate engagement techniques to screen, qualify, and build relationships with passive and active applicants for any of our job families and sites.

Demonstrates Competency and Experience in the Following Areas:

  • At least 3 years sourcing or recruiting experience, adept at creating and executing sourcing strategies and sourcing campaigns/programs for hard-to-fill positions
  • Strong knowledge of candidate attraction and candidate/employer relationship-building, excellent at building and maintaining strong candidate pipelines
  • Experience preferred utilizing online resources for research
  • Skilled with mining LinkedIn, Indeed, HealtheCareers and other candidate sites and existing resume databases preferred
  • Familiarity and experience with use of external/professional membership organizations and certification organizations, licensing agencies, and other public sources from which to engage qualified active and passive candidates
  • Skilled and experience with face-to-face recruiting activities, such as staffing job fairs and engaging with university job placement offices is preferred
  • Develops / maintains positive relationships with local sponsors of job fairs and placement organizations (State of Maine, local universities)
  • A team player with a high sense of urgency and ability to adapt to a quickly and innovatively to a changing environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to take initiative
  • Contributes to a positive and energizing team environment
  • Self-motivated with strong time management, and organization skills
  • Customer Service: Interacts with all individuals in a consistent manner, providing attention, support, and assistance to foster an environment of exceptional personal service
  • Maintains a pleasant and helpful demeanor, and presents a professional appearance toward all internal and external customers at all times
  • Demonstrates a commitment to service by consistent attendance and punctuality, scheduling absences according to departmental requirements, and incurring unplanned absences only when unavoidable circumstances exist

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or relevant experience preferred.
  • Prior sourcing experience mining job boards, using applicant tracking software to post, screen, qualify candidates is highly preferred
  • Experience creating outreach/campaigns for passive and active candidates is preferred
  • Prior experience with college or technical education/training placement programs is helpful
  • Health care experience is preferred but not required
