Aperto Property Management, Inc. is a growing Multifamily Property Management Company. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our corporate team in Irvine, CA.

The TAS should have a proven track record of putting the right people in the right seats who are focused on the right work. This track record is the natural result of your strong computer skills, excellent written and verbal communication traits, strong soft skills, and proficiency in creating systems to track candidates and maintain sourcing leads. Your strong organizational and prioritization skills allow you to think strategically and offer solutions to complex problems.

The TAS will have excellent time management skills, be a self-starter, team player, goal crusher and most importantly a positive can-do attitude!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Strategic alignment of current headcount and forecasting future needs to meet objectives and company goals.
  • Design and implement cost-effective, data-driven models to assess trends and track the effectiveness of hires across the organization.
  • Consult with leadership and hiring managers on job descriptions and position requisitions and align compensation with internal and external equity.
  • Liaise with human resources and leadership team(s) to plan for, and minimize, headcount attrition and promote company culture and mitigate hiring risks.
  • Operate as the point of contact and lead in the life cycle of the hiring process including, but not limited to: Strategic candidate sourcing and applicant tracking, initial phone screens, organizing all interview phases, reviewing resumes, communicating with hiring managers about applicants, communicating with candidates about final decision making, and onboarding coordination.
  • Lead and coordinate the interviewing team for each candidate and distill findings post-interviews to the hiring manager with recommendations for the best-fit candidate.
  • Oversite of all new hire administration work including, but not limited to: Applicant disposition and effective onboarding of new hires.
  • Update leadership on the newest and best practices for headcount tracking, candidate pipelines, and boosting Aperto’s visibility on key hiring platforms (LinkedIn, social media, etc.)

Education and Experience Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree, with a preferred focus in business or other related fields,
  • 3-5 years’ experience in recruiting/talent acquisition with internal recruiting experience preferred and,
  • An understanding through experience of the property management industry and its unique requirements from a talent acquisition perspective.
  • Knowledge of appropriate software including: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
