Job Responsibilities:

· Select recruitment sites and posts recruitment ads as directed

· Coordinates with Human Resources Department on full life-cycle recruitment process to include processing of resume and scheduling and organizing interviews

· Maintains electronic resume file of potential candidates for each job title

· Develops and maintains contact with local community colleges for potential Department of Labor apprenticeship referrals

· Monitors training requirements and maintains training records while assisting with employee training as needed

· Assists operations director with maintaining staffing needs on production floor, which includes provision of weekly spreadsheet reports

· Presides over Safety Committee by scheduling monthly meetings to review accident/incident/near miss reports and implement recommendations, discuss strategies for reducing safety concerns, update members on MIOSHA/OSHA standards

· Supports the Human Resources Department and management team by performing other duties as required.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience

· At least 1 year experience with Human Resources, Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, or related experience.

· Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of HR administration

· Effective oral and written communication skills

· Excellent interpersonal skills
