Responsibilities:
This opportunity is a full life cycle recruiting position where you will serve as a collaborative strategic business partner to our hiring managers to identify the best candidates for the assigned openings This role will be an advisor with respect to market trends, talent demands, employment law, and compliance.

Specific duties include (but are not limited to) the following:
  • Manages the entire recruitment lifecycle for mid to senior-level positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing top talent.
  • Establishes a creative sourcing & recruitment strategy to proactively find and screen quality candidates.
  • Manages the candidate experience, solicits feedback, communicates status to candidates and hiring managers.
  • Partners with the HR & Marketing departments on recordkeeping, data management, job requisitions/postings, job offers, social media initiatives, advertising, and best practices.
  • Partners with Human Resource Managers across the company to establish and maintain collaborative recruiting communications about potential candidates identified.
  • Serves as a talent advisor and consults leaders on effective strategies to achieve talent needs and educate and train on recruiting processes.
  • Educates hiring managers on recruitment processes and laws impacting the hiring of human capital.
  • Develops relationships and meets regularly with HR Managers and hiring managers to understand business needs to develop and recommend effective and strategic recruiting strategies.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with HR Managers and hiring managers to plan and execute talent needs.
  • Executes a compliant recruiting process with passive candidates, while managing positions and candidates in an applicant tracking system.
  • Reviews and recommends process improvements to ensure our recruitment process is efficient, effective, and proactively meets the needs of the business.
  • Leverages effective sourcing strategies to attract active and passive candidates. Uses employee referral, recruiting boards, internet, social media, industry and community organizations to build a strong talent pool.
  • Identifies and manages strategic search firm relationships.
  • Stays abreast of external marketplace/industry trends and shares recommendations for consideration.
  • May be involved in other recruitment-based programs, including diversity initiatives, student outreach efforts, college recruiting, immigration, manager training opportunities, etc.
  • Able to communicate Compensation & Benefit plan highlights to candidates.
  • Establish and maintain an open, candid relationship with the Talent Management.
  • Develop and maintain influential relationships with internal contacts and external contacts (vocational schools, agencies, colleges, community outreach/development organizations, etc.), projecting a favorable image of the company and its philosophy.
  • Attend recruiting events including job fairs and college recruiting as needed
  • Perform special projects within the Human Resources Department as assigned by the Manager.
  • Proactively research and evaluate new sourcing and research ideas or methods to create innovative sourcing strategies which meet the Company’s needs and standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in HR, Business Management/Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 5+ years working in Talent Acquisition
  • Experience working in the AEC industry is preferred
  • Experience creating and executing sourcing strategies to target top candidates
  • Expertise working with applicant tracking systems, preferably iCIMS, strategic sourcing techniques, LinkedIn Recruiter, and various job boards
  • Experience with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and practices
  • Experience participating in college and professional recruitment events
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to self-direct and work independently in a remote environment
  • Ability to navigate competing priorities and provide exceptional service and results to our leadership
  • Excellent time management and creative problem solver
  • Strong leadership, sales, and negotiation ability
  • Knowledge of EEO and OFCCP practices and procedures, understanding of relevant Federal and State laws
  • Ability to travel if required, no more than 20%. Ability to work some evenings and weekends when needed during tight deadlines
  • Salary Range: $75,000-95,000/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
