Here’s the Gist:
In this role, you will be responsible for the identification, evaluation and hiring of candidates for various technical roles Wolfspeed. This role will support hiring partners at our brand new, state of the art fabrication facility in Marcy, NY. The Mohawk Valley Fab is the first, largest, and only dedicated Silicon Carbide fab in the world. Our recruiting team has the opportunity to build a world class technical staff that is leading the way in the semiconductor industry. This role will recruit for a variety of technical and support positions on the operations, facilities, and shared services teams.
  • This position can be based in Marcy, NY, Raleigh/Durham, NC, or remotely.
Responsibilities:
  • Carry out hiring objectives identified by the business to support the expansion of our brand new Mohawk Valley fab
  • Develop and foster recruiting strategies from inception to implementation
  • Continuously identify ways to improve recruitment process for candidates and hiring partners
  • Ensure Wolfspeed hires the best and brightest talent through creative, proactive sourcing efforts
  • Ensure top-notch communication with hiring teams, managers and candidates, as well as soliciting timely feedback
This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a prior recruitment role
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of previous recruitment experience
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities
  • Ability to absorb highly technical concepts quickly
