As a Tax Senior, you will assist on full-cycle client tax engagements, helping clients navigate their tax compliance requirements, and tax planning needs. You’ll work to prepare, and review returns for both businesses and individuals. You will conduct technical research, stay abreast of industry & regulatory changes, and collaborate with tax leaders to recommend solutions.

What you will need (Minimum Qualifications):
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA eligibility is required.
  • CPA designation is preferred.
  • 3+ years of relevant tax experience is required.
  • Experience in a public accounting or professional services firm environment is preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Internal Revenue Code and Regulations is required.
  • Must exhibit a high degree of professionalism and maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Must be able to demonstrate critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills in business and technical environments and be able to communicate with a diverse group of individuals.
  • Able to work in a highly organized manner within a fast-paced, innovative, and continuously changing environment.
  • Must be computer proficient with respect to the Microsoft Office Suite of products, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • May be required to work extended hours during the work week or on weekends as needed.
  • May be required to travel and work from different company and client locations.
What you will do (Main Responsibilities):
  • Conducts and supervises tax preparation work.
  • Provides intern and staff supervision.
  • Monitors workload on a weekly basis to ensure
  • Assists in the completion of all financial statements, tax returns and special services.
  • Assists in reviewing reports, statements, and returns processed by the administrative staff.
  • Develops opportunities to provide additional services to clients.
  • Stays abreast of relevant industry and regulatory changes.
  • Monitors workload to ensure billable hour goals and client deadlines are being met.
  • May assist other departments with assigned projects as needed.
