  • T/W/Th 9:30a-12:30p
  • Push-in sessions for Math instruction for grades 9-12; students are at least 2 grade levels behind
  • Math level is late Elementary & Middle School. Our focus is to address skill gaps that are preventing them from being successful with on-grade level skills, so advanced math skills such as Geometry and Algebra II are not needed.
• Manatee County:
  • M/T/Th 9:30a-12:30p
  • Push-in sessions for Reading instruction for grades 6-8; students are at least 2 grade levels behind
  • Male students only

Teacher Job Duties:

• Instruct to students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face school setting.
• Deliver designated instructional models to eligible students.
• Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Ensure supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classrooms/learning stations. Climbing stairs and light lifting may be required.
• Perform data entry in a timely fashion to meet deadlines (student attendance, online pre/post testing, progress reports, parent and classroom teacher communication forms, compliance documentation).
• Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by company, local, state, and federal agencies.
• Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents.
• Other duties as assigned.

Teacher Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• Classroom teaching and/or tutoring experience
• Willingness and ability to teach various grade levels
• Must pass the Department of Justice background check process, including a drug screen
• Teaching Certificate is preferred
• Working knowledge of MS Office and Zoom/Teams preferred
• Experience with Alternative Education environments a plus
