PRN / TEACHER FOR THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED / VI / Houston, Texas
Company: Specialized Assessment & Consulting is a leading provider of quality special education services for schools and students across the nation.
Description: This is a PRN Teacher for the Visually Impaired (VI Teacher) position to provide braille services. We are seeking a special education provider who will work 30 mins per week for a school in Houston, Texas.
SALARY: From $76.80/hr.
LOCATION: Houston, Texas 77054
JOB TYPE: PRN
START DATE: Immediate
SERVICE MODALITY: In-person
Responsibilities: Braille Services and possible completion of Visual Impairment evaluations, some VI therapy services and ARD attendance with possible consultations.
License or Certification Requirements:
Current certification from the Texas Education Agency in the area of visual impairments.
Education Required:
Graduate degree from a recognized, accredited college or university
Other Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years providing services to students with visual impairments.
