Teacher's Assistant

Likely work serve as 1:1 with a student with special needs and potential behavioral issues
MUST have classroom experience in a public school with special needs students.
Exceptional References required.
Associate's Degree required. Please apply only if you hold as Associate's Degree or higher.
Must be able to work closely with teacher's, other staff and students.
Must follow instructions provided by teachers and appropriate school staff in supervisory roles.
Must demonstrate patience, understanding and empathy.
Must demonstrate excellent communication skills.
Must be reliable and have an exceptional work attendance record.
Needs skills and knowledge in the area of diffusing difficult situations and dealing with problem behaviors.
Clean criminal background check required.
Anticipated Locations:
Position One: Jones Elm School (1 on 1)
Position Two: New Hope Elm School (2 siblings); Two other TAs currently in this self contained classroom
Position Three: Barnes Elm. School
