Responsibilities

This person will be responsible for running the counter in the AIES store. There is one more individual who will be working alongside them. They will be servicing AIES customers which consists of 50% contractors, 50% industrial. A typical contractor customer would be an Electrician, or an electrical contractor who is working on a project and needs more parts. AIES industrial customers include Tesla, Genentech, etc. When they are not busy with customers, they will be cross trained in the Inside Sales Department. This person needs to have a really strong personality and willing/driven to get into sales and work their way up within the organization. Day to Day breakup is broken down by:

  • 70% actively with customers at the counter
  • 10% helping pull orders, processing, etc.
  • 20% Email: order disposition, etc.

Must Haves

  • 1-2 years of experiencein a customer facing role.
  • Reliable, driven, and interested in moving towards sales. Personality is the main must have for this role.
  • High School degree at least (Bachelor’s preferred)
  • Career Goals: Wants to grow within a company. This is a tight knit company that promotes from within. Do they want to move upwards towards sales?
  • Self-sufficient/Comfortable with Microsoft Suite. (Excel, Word, etc.)

Plusses

  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Coming from similar industry (Industrial, Electrical, Construction, HVAC)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
