Our Mission-Focused Team Lead/Drivers are the front-line troops at Two Marines Moving. They’re at the “tip of the spear," running, gunning, and making moves happen. Team Leads/Drivers are the face of The Company representing our brand and our team out in the field everyday. Clients trust our Team Lead/Drivers to protect their cherished belongings, carefully move their furniture to their new home, and do both in an expeditious/timely manner. Our Team Lead/Drivers are the ground-pounders that provide the muscles to complete the client experience to ensure mission accomplishment.

Additional Expectations

  • Drive a 26' box truck and crew members to and from customer’s residence with packing materials and crates.
  • Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition.
  • Manages on-site crews to ensure efficient packing of household good items and effective service and delivery to clients and homeowners.
  • Prepare inventories of household goods items when necessary for items to be shipped.
  • Routinely involves lifting, movement and placement of heavy items by hand or with the assistance of material handling equipment (hand-truck or dolly).
  • Acts as liaison with customer service reps, dispatch, and warehouse staff to meet Company’s obligations to the client.
  • Responsible for accurate and complete transactions on all paperwork; securing signatures, collection of payment, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
  • Submit paperwork to Dispatchers to validate crew man-hours and report any incidents.
  • Represents The Company in a professional manner.

Typical Motivated Team Lead/Driver Employment Categories:

  • Full-Time: (35-50 hours per week) Our full time entry level movers average approximately $48,000 per year. Overtime can push that figure above $60,000 per year.
  • Part-Time: Tailored to prior service using their GI BILL & ROTC students with flexible scheduling requirements around classes (10-35 hours per week)
  • Weekend Warriors: Tailored for those on Active Duty or those who have Full-Time Monday through Friday jobs elsewhere (8-20 hours per weekend). Earn an extra $160 - $450 per weekend!
  • Transitional/ Temporary: Tailored as temporary employment for a few weeks to a few months for those exiting the military, reentering the workforce, or changing careers. Make $800 - $1,200 per week!

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school Diploma or equivalent required
  • Military affiliation preferred but not required. Bring your Military ID or DD-214 to your interview to receive additional pay based on your current or last rank held in the military! Those with a dishonorable or bad conduct discharge need not apply.
  • Driver's License required
  • Athletic background (high school, college, or professional) preferred but not required
  • Pass our background check: Larceny, shoplifting, criminal trespass, and burglary are a definite no go at Two Marines Moving. Minor non-larceny related incidents will be considered on a case by case basis.
  • Pass a background driving check
  • Preference for those who have driven a commercial truck for at least one year
  • Preference for those who have prior experience at a moving company for at least one year
  • Preference for those with prior supervisor experience for at least year

The Company was founded by Marine and combat veteran, Nicholas Baucom, in order to provide job and career opportunities for other veterans. Compensation

Starting Total Effective Pay Rate: $18 – $23 an hour. Total effective pay is comprised of a base hourly rate by position, gratuity from our clients, bonuses, and incentive pay. You earn more money with additional responsibilities such as driving, team leading moves, obtaining certifications, etc... Those with strong prior experience will be on the fast track to promotion!

Team Leader/Driver: $18-$23 an hour effective pay

Crew Chief/Driver: $20-$25 an hour effective pay
