**
*ROLE*
Maintain quality standards by performing incoming inspections and finished goods inspections, recording all quality results. The quality team lead’s primary role is to ensure all products are 100% defect free before being released to the warehouse for shipment. Lead/supervise the quality techs.

  • Location: Griffin, GA
  • Shift: 3rd Shift (9:00PM - 5:30AM)
  • Schedule Sunday - Thursday with availability to work Fridays
  • Must be able to complete onsite training 1st Shift

*RESPONSIBILITIES: *
QUALITY INSPECTIONS

  • Leads Quality Technician I, II
  • Performs one-on-ones with Quality Technicians
  • Conducts daily process, system, and quality audit.
  • Evaluates and reviews product line out and rework operations.
  • Coaches and trains new operators, including orientation and retrains existing operators.
  • Ensure all incoming material meets the specified criteria prior to being released to production
  • Ensures quality control process and systems are 100% adhered to
  • Audits line to ensure correct parts are being presented to line.
  • Reports quality issues to the Quality Manager and site management
  • Performs critical instrument verification
  • Communicates quality concerns immediately to site leadership
  • Participates in and documents new product pilot
  • Uses good problem-solving skills to determine root cause of failures and drives product and process improvement initiatives
  • Creates Material Non-Conformances and initiates Root Cause Analysis (8D or similar format) and tracks to closure
  • Ensures compliance with Rinnai quality system and maintains ISO certification for manufacturing
  • Promotes adherence to quality standards, test methodologies, quality plans, documents, and procedures
  • Maintains records and objective evidence of activities
  • Maintains Quality Management System (QMS) documented information including revision control and training/mentoring records and identifying and mitigating potential risks of change
  • Additional tasks as assigned to ensure product quality is maintained
  • Awareness and compliance of Company Policies and Procedures

*REQUIREMENTS: *
KNOWLEDGE

  • 2 Year Technical Degree preferred
  • Manufacturing and Quality experience required
  • Previous factory or assembly experience is required

**
*SKILLS*

  • Mechanically inclined
  • Quality first mindset
  • Detail orientated
  • Utilizing measurement equipment (i.e. calipers, micrometers, ring gages, plug gages, etc.)
  • Should have basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word)
  • Be able to interpret drawings
