Brooklyn Low Voltage Supply is a national wholesale distributor of technology products for professional installation companies. It is our goal to provide customers with quality and timely support with various products. We are looking for a team player to help strengthen our Tech Support team.

There is plenty of room for growth & we are searching for someone who is driven & willing to learn. As an entry level support specialist you will learn how to resolve technical issues with hardware as well as IP and networking issues for the devices listed below:

- Surveillance systems / CCTV

- Intercoms and door phones

- Access control systems and alarms

These issues will be resolved Via telephone, using team viewer, zendesk and email.

Job training is available

Responsibilities

- Assist customers in troubleshooting hardware and software in person and remotely

- Test and diagnose potentially defective hardware - Maintain databases and follow protocol for resolving issues Required Skills

- Previous experience or education in IT or in supporting security equipment.

- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

- Diligence to learn new skills and adapt

- Strong organizational documentation skills Preferred Skills

- Microsoft Office

- Computer and IP Networking

- Database programming

- Camera system experience highly preferred
