Your role:

Technical Managing Consultants at CloudLogic lead and collaborate across multiple functional and/or technical teams to sell and deliver a broad set of solutions. This role leverages a growth mentality, brings enthusiasm about learning innovative technologies quickly, and applying gained knowledge to address practical business and technology problems for customers. Technical Managing Consultants bring an ability to lead conversations with clients on a business level and translate their needs into technical solutions. This role will take lead position from sales through delivery with clients and partners working to expand existing and new relationships of trust based on a commitment to excellence and industry knowledge.

Business Development:

  • Leads and manages pre-sales pursuits and manages process end to end from sales through solution delivery in partnership with sales representatives, partners, and delivery teams.
  • Proactively engages SMEs and partners to assist in solution development and engagement approach
  • Determines pre-sales and delivery strategy, taking an active role and responsibility for development of proposal, pricing and statement of work
  • Drives decision making on deal structure in partnership with solution leads. Defines pursuit close plans, identifies blockers, and risks, and escalates any issues impacting pursuit progress
  • Ensures deal due diligence (staffing, financials, legal, risk management, contract approval gates)
  • Actively drives pursuits to closure and manages contracting process in with partners and leadership
  • Continuously introduce new techniques, tools, and/or processes to make sales and delivery activities more efficient

Client Engagement Management:

  • Regularly meets with client leadership team to provide guidance and industry perspective
  • Acts as an advisor to clients in developing solutions for strategic initiatives
  • Operates in both an engagement team management capacity and a technical leadership capacity.
  • Performance is typically measured by the capture of the consulting engagement, utilization (e.g., billable hours), and performance against project budget.
  • Responsible for coordinating all aspects of projects for a client from inception to completion

Solution Delivery:

  • Provide thought leadership (workshops, speaking engagements, white papers, etc.) and mentor junior team members to build additional competency.
  • Assist project team with remediating issues/risks and removing project hurdles
  • Develop various cost models and business cases for client engagements
  • Act as an escalation point for the client and project team as needed during project delivery
  • Guide complex migration and transformation engagements

What you bring to the role:

  • Minimum 12 years of related technical experience if possessing a four year college degree; or minimum of 8 years related technical experience if possessing an Advanced
  • 10+ years of experience in the IT Consulting space
  • 5+ years complex services and solutions sales
  • History and track record of developing and selling large, $1M+, multi-faceted IT programs
  • Typically requires advanced technical and business knowledge in multiple disciplines/technologies/processes.
  • Experience in IT architecture and consulting
  • Recent experience with large consolidation, migration, and transformation programs
  • Strategic analysis and business modeling skills
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Skilled at leading teams through complex technology solution sales
  • Recent experience and current certifications with at least one or more cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Knowledge and understanding of each public cloud provider’s Well Architected pillars
  • Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft365
  • Recent experience with M365 implementation, migration, and/or expansion is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience with private cloud solutions (VMware, OpenShift, etc.)
  • Knowledge of application lifecycle management (ALM) and DevOps automation including CI/CD pipeline architecture
  • Knowledge of serverless & micro-service management using services across major public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, and GCP)
  • 7+ years of experience with multiple project management frameworks (Waterfall, Agile, etc.) and tools (Jira, MS Project, Trello, M365 etc.)
  • 5+ years strategy development experience with a strategy consulting firm or similar role is preferred
  • Able to travel up to 50%

Salary Range:

Ingram Micro has different annual base pay ranges for each work location and salary grade within the United States. This practice allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets.

Primary Location: CA

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $128,400 - $173,400 - $218,300 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
