What we are looking for:

Everyware is looking for a passionate and experienced Technical Project Manager. The Technical Project Manager will act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams. This is an incredible opportunity to work at a nimble, fast-growing company with a high-impact team using cutting-edge technology. The Technical Project Manager will assist with requirements gathering, product design, management of developers, and coordination with QA. This role will collaborate cross-functionally, especially with our product and development teams. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a solid ability to work independently and as a team in an agile environment. You will help identify and manage risk and provide input on status reports. Clear and precise communication with Product Owners, Project Managers, Solution Engineers, Clients, Developers, and Management will ensure a successful career with our growing team.

What you will do:

The essential functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Design and execute tactical project plans and prepare documentation with change management considered at all phases
  • Assess and define the client’s key objectives to determine the scope of work
  • Manage project risk and assist with problem resolution
  • Collaborate with product team to outline development mockups & workflows
  • Oversee integration testing, user acceptance testing, and deployment support
  • Work to educate clients on the product and configuration options
  • Recognize gaps in the ability to meet customer needs and deliver on-time projects; take appropriate action to achieve and exceed expectations
  • Oversee day-to-day schedules, work plans, project budgets, and status reports of all project resources
  • Track the status of project activities and ensure key deliverables and milestones are met
  • Facilitate excellent meetings with clear agenda, engaged participants, and identifiable action items
  • Proactively track action items working with the team to overcome hurdles and keep projects on time and within budget
  • Recognize and resolve blockers to keep the team focused
  • Provide feedback and suggestions on products, issues, processes, and procedures to improve efficiency and deliver a better experience

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • Must be local to Austin, TX, or willing to relocate at own expense, role can be performed either Hybrid/Remote/In-office
  • Technical background and experience with client/server, database, and customer information systems required
  • Extensive knowledge of various types of IT project methodologies and life cycles, Agile, SDLC, change management, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation of software
  • Advanced skills in time management to plan and deliver multiple projects and manage internal/external teams and resources daily
  • Prior experience preparing cost estimates and managing budgets
  • Exposure to API integrations and preferred experience with Postman and REST API principles
  • Ability to convey technical concepts to business-oriented project teams and interact with senior technical internal resources
  • Previous experience documenting workflows for both technical and training purposes
  • Basic understanding of technical languages and how systems interact with one another
  • Strong analytical skills to be able to troubleshoot and solve product application issues effectively
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Highly motivated, driven, and passionate about technology
  • Desire to thrive in a rapidly growing organization where you are depended upon to figure it out and do not mind changing gears on a dime

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or management information systems or equivalent experience
  • 5-8 years’ previous work experience in a similar role
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is recommended but not required
  • Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines
  • Advanced skills with project management software
  • Superior communication (verbal, written, presentation, etc.) and interpersonal (tact, empathy, influence, etc.) skills essential within the internal team and externally with vendors and clients

Nice to Have:

  • Background in the Payments, Banking, E-Commerce, Finance industries helpful but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
