Technical Solutions Specialist
Tier 2
The Technical Solutions Specialist will provide internal support for employees across the Post Acute Medical organization. Candidates should have a strong mix of technical and customer service skills, and be passionate about technology and helping people. We support PCs, iPad, printers, faxes, copiers, etc. This is a non-exempt position.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle Tier 2 service desk escalations through tickets or phone
• Under supervisor’s guidance and management, performs project management tasks/activities in compiling documentation, analyzing workflows, and coordinating activities associated with any project.
• Follow up on outstanding requests and ensure timely resolution
• Provide support and mentorship to IT Help Desk Technicians
• Assist with answering service desk calls supporting employees across the organization
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT related problems, escalate as necessary
• Troubleshoot and diagnose network issues
• Ability to travel to other offices across the country as needed
• Ability to work schedule on-call rotations
• Configure PC's, printers, and other devices and needed
• The Technical Solutions Specialist will travel to facilities across the Post Acute Medical organization on an as-needed basis, not to exceed 10%
• The Technical Operations Coordinator will be required to work a scheduled on-call rotation

• Maintains the highest level of customer service via courtesy, compassion and positive communication.
• Promotes the Mission and Vision of Post Acute Medical within the work environment and the community.
• Respects dignity and confidentiality by adherence to all applicable policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Training:

• Required: 4 years of Service desk or deskside experience (preferably Healthcare related) education, certification and experience. Desired: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. A technology-oriented bachelor’s degree is desirable. A+, Sec+ or MSP certification, and HIPPA certification.

Experience: 3 years+ experience working in a Windows environment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experience working with Windows (7/8/10)
• Active Directory maintenance and Exchange 2010/2013
• PC hardware, Printers, scanners, computer peripherals, Mobile devices (iOS, Android)
• Client PC connectivity - ethernet, TCP/IP and VPN
• Prior experience maintaining and troubleshooting servers and network issues
• Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a wide range of end-users
