Job Details:

· Client is looking for a Technical Writer to join a team that provides technology cloud and data center services and solutions to a global customer base.

· This position will be responsible for creating technical documentation for policy, procedure and process guides for teams utilizing libraries, tools, and services that subject matter experts use to build solutions maximizing performance while delivering exceptional business value.

· This position will also document new features and services and continuously improve existing documentation based on emerging business and technology.

· Ideally, the technical writer will have both a technical background that enables easy interaction with technical teams and a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality technical documentation.

· The responsibilities as a technical writer include creating conceptual information, step-by-step procedures, and service and product descriptions.

· You will work with peer to improve your writing and grow professionally as a technical communicator.

Responsibilities:

· Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements. Teams include, but are not limited to, Technology, Sales, Marketing, Content Management, Operations, and Executives

· Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience

· Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides

· Create tutorials to help others use a variety of services and applications

Basic Qualifications:

· A minimum of 4-5 years in a technical writing or developmental editing role

· Degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or related field or certification in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience

· Experience designing, planning, and delivering content solutions that meet the needs of technical business customers

· Experience working directly with engineering teams on a product for a technical audience, such as developers, DevOps, IT professionals, or engineers

· Experience with and knowledge of AWS and other Public Cloud services

· Experience working with GitHub is a plus

· Experience writing cross-product or cross-service content

· Experience using tools to create, manage, and publish documentation

· Experience rewriting content

Preferred Qualifications:

· Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner

· Previous experience working in an agile service delivery environment a plus

· Passion to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

· A proactive and open-minded attitude to resolving problems and delivering results

· Strong attention to detail

· Strong interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour
