Overview
The Program Manager (Technology) is responsible for the development and execution of the sales/marketing plan for the Technology Category through effective use and expansion of GPO’s/Contract Purchasing vehicles. This position will develop and implement long-term selling strategies, customer partnerships and business alliances for long term growth.
This role also provides information and support to B2B sales teams and group purchasing organizations (GPO), Associations and Consortiums.
This is a sales position. Goals will be set to maximize growth of ODP Business Solutions’ Technology category using GPO/CoOp (Omnia, DIR, NASPO, Premiere, Vizient are some examples)
Travel required, approximately 50%, but can vary based on seasonality.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Engage in sales activities outside of the office, face-to-face and virtual, including, but not limited to, creating relationships with non and existing-ODPBS customers. Sales activities Include sharing the full ODPBS Value Proposition when combined with one of our GPO/CoOp relationships. Drive profitability and grow revenue for target healthcare accounts in partnership with Tech Sales team and KAM/SAM/ISR. Ensure an agency-specific program is understood and being sold.
2. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and lead sales enablement for technology solutions, through GPO and CoOp contract purchasing vehicles (Omnia, DIR, NASPO, Premiere, Vizient are some examples) including sales support for complex solution deals and customer presentations at up to the CxO level
3. Create solution messaging and positioning and collaborate with the marketing and ecommerce teams to communicate the ODPBS and GPO/CoOp value proposition to the market including on-line and traditional marketing.
4. Ensure that all required information pertaining to an agency or specific sales programs are properly communicated in an organized and timely manner, including rollout information packets, pricing updates, target account blitzes, policies, training, etc.
5. Analyze complex industry information and conduct market analysis to identify market opportunities for new or expanded GPO/CoOp engagement
6. Attend segment specific conventions and meetings to provide representation of the range of ODPBS’ products, services, and business solutions.

Level of Formal Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Area of Study:
- Business Administration
Years of Experience:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in related field
Type of Experience:
- High Level Outside Selling and Key Relationship Management; Technology Sales Experience a plus
Technical Competencies & Information Systems:
- Working knowledge of MS Office products, CRM systems a plus. Solid navigation skills and functional capabilities of ODPBS web site and of ODPBS’ e-Commerce solutions.

- Travel required, approximately 30-60%Demonstrated record of mid to senior level customer contacts, preferably within the commercial technology industry.
