Job Summary:


The Telemetry Analyst will support the telemetry program aimed to improve forecasting accuracy in the supply chain. The primary focus will be working closely with tank monitor vendors to evaluate vendor unit value to include reliability/uptime, oversee vendor led tank monitor deployments, and to utilize an advanced analytics dashboard as well as telemetry vendor data to recommend future strategic unit deployments. This role will also provide field support in areas of training and technology integration to enhance customer consumption forecasting


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Partner with regional operation team and telemetry vendors to plan, coordinate, and facilitate vendor led tank monitor deployments
  • Partner with telemetry vendors to proactively address non-operational units with the most cost-effective solution to include replacing old technology that is/will no longer be supported
  • Support implementation of critical telemetry integration improvements on data synchronicity, forecasting, asset management, and reporting
  • Assist with the strategic selection of customers for deployment to reduce delivery costs and improve the customer experience
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage vendor resources to bring about the successful completion of mutually agreed to vendor/AmeriGas project goals

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Highly organized and detailed oriented
  • Skilled at examining and re-engineering operations and procedures
  • Effective at collaborating and developing relationships with network stakeholders and translating data analysis into actionable and executable solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication to both tactical and leadership groups inside and outside of AmeriGas
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office product suite with an intermediate or advanced ability to leverage Excel for data analysis

Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or Business
  • 4+ years, minimum of 2+ years of related experience and responsibilities specified
