Summary: No prior election experience required. Training will be provided. Temporary Data Entry staff to perform the following duties:
- Performs data entry and proofreads.
- Enters data from voter registration or vote by mail forms into a database.
- Responds to questions via email, phone, and in person.
- Prepares mail-in ballots for voters and answers questions.
- Processes returned mail.

Pay: $18.00 / hour
Time Frame: This position will be active until December 2022.

Availability: Full-time (40 hours per week) Day time shifts and Evening shifts available. Extended workdays and weekends as needed. Limited Part Time shifts available in the evening.
Time and a half is earned for hours worked over 40 hours in a week. Election Day from 5:30 a.m. until approximately 10:30 p.m. Overtime on weekends and extended weekdays will be required at least three weeks prior to an election and two weeks following an election.
Benefits: This position is temporary. Temporary employees are eligible for Sick and Safe leave after 106 days of employment. Reliable transportation is required. Temporary employees do not receive any benefits: medical, holidays, etc. Temporary employees are paid only for the hours actually worked.
Education and/or Experience: Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; Subject matter training will be provided.
Transportation: Reliable transportation and driving is required. A valid Maryland Driver’s License and a driving record with no more than six points for moving violations is required.
