Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division is seeking a Customer Order Service Supervisor for our North Kingstown, RI location.

Description:
The Tesa COS Supervisor leads a team of Customer Order Service Representatives who enter, bill, and manage incoming purchase orders and billing for the Tesa division. Also includes coaching and training of team, as well developing training materials.

Responsibilities:
Supervise the Tesa COS team; this includes maintaining a teamwork style atmosphere and an environment that fosters professional growth
Responsible for employee career development, compensation, performance goals, monitoring and coaching, training, and new hire development
Work with Human Resources in hiring and training new COS Representatives as well as employee issues
Responsible for maintaining the teams efficient, timely processing of orders and inquiries for the Tesa division.
Serves as a liaison between Customer Order Service, the sales team, and customers to give them the best possible experience
Maintains regular contact with the Sales Team to always have the latest pricing and special offers on hand
Maintains Mapics with the support of HQ to make sure that the discounts and special prices are always up to date and to minimize the risk of pricing errors upon order entry.
Confers with the COS manager concerning the most difficult cases.
Ensures Tesa team adheres to policies and procedures for order entry, acknowledgment process, routine order maintenance, credits, and returned goods.
Lead internal meetings as well as coordinate any workshops, job training or job-related functions
Supports organizational policies related to safety, environmental protection, housekeeping, etc. within area of responsibility. Supports and participates in continuous improvement activities that positively affect safety, the environment, quality, reliability, and productivity or improve the overall suitability and effectiveness of the management system, its processes, and products.
Respond daily to customer service expedite lists and requests.
Daily follow up of backlog, including RGAs
Daily running of shipping batches based on allocated backlog and expedite requests.
Analyze shipping damage claims and file insurance claim if needed
Create new customers and update existing customer accounts and details
Work closely with Stock Room Supervisor to ensure the daily shipping goals are reached (target for delivery performance = 95% based on confirmation date and 90% based on customer requested date)
Analyze root causes of delivery issues and work closely with Stock Room Supervisor and Material Control Manager to solve them.
Outbound sales activity to customers (inside sales)
Make sure that the daily workload of order entry is distributed in an equal way among the team
Support the team in entering orders and billing invoices
Qualifications:
2-5 years related experience
Demonstrated experience in managing and developing a team of professionals
Proven knowledge of the products
Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience
Aggressive, action oriented and driven individual
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
Excellent presentation skills
Ability to work independently and experience managing multiple issues
Decision making and problem-solving skills
Strong self-motivation, detail-oriented and able to work under pressure
Strong people management skills and team management experience
Ability to motivate others to deliver
Effective interpersonal and communications skills
