Job description

Position’s Contributions to Work Group:

· Lab testing of electric drive component/systems – motors, generator, power electronics.

Typical task breakdown:

· Define test details, Coordinate modification of DUTs (Device under test), Add instrumentation, execute testing, data analysis, report out results, create technical report

Interaction with team:

· Will have SR engineer mentor to learn role, will have daily interactions with testing team and design/controls internal clients.

Work environment:

· Powertrain lab testing environment, 30% of role will be office based at desk for data analysis and meetings, 70% will be in lab or shop

Education & Experience Required:

· Min BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, or Agricultural Engineering

Technical Skills
(Required)

· Previous testing experience

· Demonstrated Hand-On experience

· Prior product development experience

(Desired)

· Experience with Data Acquisition System

Soft Skills
(Required)

· Strong Organization/Attention to details

· Good communications

· Ability to facilitate meetings and technical discussion

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $35.00 - $39.00 per hour
