Job Summary

Quality Assurance Testing Analyst will be responsible for working with various departments to create appropriate test scripts for all stages of end user perspective testing of our Loan Origination Software. Testing will include manual steps and automated scripts. The Analyst will document, step by step, and provide a feedback loop of failures, issues, and questions to the applicable departments for further investigation and remedy of identified issues. The Analyst will also provide unit testing support as needed for Business Analyst and IS Programming. The Analyst will work with business users/owners to understand processes and procedures including any updates to incorporate into applicable business testing.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain applicable testing scripts
• Test issues individually and/or with group
• Thorough documentation of repeatable testing steps for success and failures
• Analysis of testing results for continuous improvement of the system
• Search for the why and what ifs/Ask questions
• Gain knowledge of end users processes and adjust testing accordingly for any changes
• Review system changes and enhancement and adjust testing scripts accordingly
• Utilize Automated testing where possible and appropriate
• Provide feedback loop of test results/questions to Business Analyst
• Coordination of testing requirements with Business Analyst
• Assist with unit testing and ancillary products including documenting procedures
• Work with peers to help business, retail and back office users define process improvements through testing
