The Manager of Outpatient Services is responsible for managing the Outpatient Treatment Programs. Develop, plan and implement strategies for program continuation and growth.
Essential Job Functions:
- Supervision of Outpatient treatment programs, helping to achieve. Evaluate existing compliance, monitoring and reporting to ensure all goals are being met.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Director to plan and implement strategies to manage program growth and ensure sustainability of the program.
- Regularly review and recommend changes in program services to meet client needs, working closely with the Clinical Director and the Healthcare Administration Manager.
- Work with other members of the clinical team to assure successful communication, assisting IOP and OP staff in improving diagnostic and therapeutic skills and providing in-service trainings as needed or required.
- Works with the Clinical Director to hire, train and develop department employees according to company policy and procedure.
- Manage IOP and OP staff including, counsel and review department employees as necessary and as required by company policy and procedure.
- Works with outpatient employees and other staff to develop an effective, proactive team that works together to meet department objectives.
- Follow and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures set forth by the Clinical Director, Human Resources, and President.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and completing 20 annual Continuing Education Units per F.A.C. 65D-30
- Conducts client sessions for other absent or vacationing therapists.
- Participate in family weekend when required.
- Helps create departmental policy and procedure manual.
- Presents with professional attire and represents company standards in a professional manner at all times.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety rules, guidelines & procedures.
Necessary Abilities:
- Understands the principles of psychiatric and addictions treatment
- Ability to prioritize workload and work independently.
- Computer knowledge and use of computer systems a must
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, management, and clients
- Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality laws
- Is knowledgeable of Clients Rights and treats all clients with dignity and respect in a consistent caring manner; adheres to federal confidentiality standards (HIPAA)
- Must be reliable and consistent with attendance and punctuality to work
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current Clinical Licensure
- 3 Years of Related Professional Experience
- Masters Degree or the Equivalent
- Experience and confidence identifying and implementing evidence based practices
- Experience working in crisis setting with individuals and families
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Program development, evaluation, solid organizational skills, and public speaking
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- All employees may be required to work before, during and/or immediately after a natural or man-made disaster
