Therapist Level I (Inpatient)

Description:

This position provides a range of therapeutic modalities to facilitate group, individual, and milieu therapies. Individuals in this role provide education and support education related to therapeutic activities and techniques designed to meet their behavioral health needs and assists in development, implementation and delivery of individualized treatments and behavioral support plans. This position is an active and valued member of the care team for our adult and child/adolescent inpatient psychiatric units.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree AND certification in Therapeutic Recreation, Art Therapy, Music Therapy or related field
• 1 year of experience in the treatment of individuals in psychiatric care

OR

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field
• 1 year experience in treatment of individuals in psychiatric care

Responsibilities:

• Provides individual, group, and family therapy.
• Educates individuals in care on activities and techniques designed to meet their behavioral health needs.
• Observes and analyzes' an individual's participation, reactions, and progress during treatment sessions and provides input to the individual's treatment and overall care plan.
  

Work scheduled:

• Full-time, part-time and PRN (as needed) positions available
• Flexible daytime and weekend hours available
