Compensation: $75,000 - $80,000 base salary + Bonus, Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, STD, LTD, PTO.
Job Description:
Studies specifications such as blueprints, sketches, models, or descriptions, and visualizes product to determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate parts.
Computes dimensions, plans layout, and determines assembly method and sequence of operations.
Measures, marks, and scribes metal stock for machining.
Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathes, milling machine, shaper, and grinder, to machine parts, and verifies conformance of machined parts to specifications.
Verifies dimensions, alignments, and clearances.
Examines standard or previously used dies, tools, and jigs and fixtures, and recommends design modifications regarding construction and function of part.
Develops specifications from general descriptions for specialty tools and draws or sketches design of product.
Makes repairs to tooling/dies.
Operates shop tools and equipment such as lifts and cranes.
Qualifications:
Must be able to understand and apply basic directions about safety procedures, quality standards, production goals, and company rules, regulations, and processes.
Must be capable of using hand tools and machine shop tools and have ability to operate machinery.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity a must.
Operate within SOP?S (Standard Operating Procedures) and maintain a clean and safe work area.
Maintains proper inventory of product at workstations
Reworking/repairing product.
Spot/MIG/TIG welding:
Loading/unloading parts
