Job Summary: The Foreman will manage the construction progress and oversee the quality and safety of their crew members as well as be in constant communications with their supervisors to provide detailed updates on on-site progress.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to the crew from the beginning of a project through completion, ensuring safety and quality standards, budget and timelines are met.
- Climbing and working on communications towers; installing, replacing, and repairing antenna equipment
- Direct and supervise the installation and maintenance services for wireless radio and antenna systems on towers, rooftops, and other elevated structures.
- Review documentation with the crew to prepare for the build, assemble the necessary materials, and determine the required installation methods.
- Supervise the tracking of all on-site inventory and materials.
- Perform tower inspections, inventories, and audits as needed.
- Collect, review, and submit all on-site closeout documentation per the deliverable timelines.
- Training crew members on proper safety/quality standards to align with CCDP (Crew Career Development Program)
- Verify that the crew members have proper certifications and skillsets to perform the scope of work.
- Maintain issued equipment and report deficiencies as needed.
- Submit daily reports on-site progress with any potential schedule delays and or needed / missing materials.
- 3-5 years wireless telecommunications industry experience
- 1-3 years supervisory experience
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to perform fiber, sweep, and PIM testing.
- Ability to operate aerial lifts, skid steers, and other heavy equipment as needed.
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to the set schedule.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to motivate, lead, teach, and train on proper work and safety procedures.
- High school diploma, general education degree (G.E.D.), or related trade school education
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets Company requirements.
- Must be able to climb tall structures (100 feet or more) with 50 lb. load.
- Ability to travel away from home, including weekends.
