Position Overview:
Provide reporting and operational support to front office investment professionals and managers to facilitate trading processes.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate trade data in the trading system.
- Lead and/or support process improvement efforts related to trading processes.
- Support trade related activities for client-onboarding and new product launches.
- Support regulatory and client requirements related to trading activity.
- Execute and/or process trades at the direction of Traders and Portfolio Managers.
- Provide other routine and ad hoc support for trading activities.
- Assist in pre-trade activities supporting public fixed income asset classes.
- Support new issue process as needed, including but not limited to security creation, deal dissemination, and documenting interest.
- Research and resolve trade issues, coordinating with other areas of the organization including, but not limited to, Operations, Compliance, and Risk Management.
- Lead and/or support broker onboarding process and related reconciliations.
Required Qualifications:
- This position requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience and bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Aladdin and Bloomberg.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing applications, along with exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work successfully in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.
Job and compensation levels depend upon an applicant’s qualifications including the extent of candidate’s relevant experience and other job-related factors and will be determined by hiring supervisors/managers and HR.
