Park Inc is looking for motivated traffic control attendants to work at UNCC during special events including campus move-in's, football games, basketball games, graduation, etc. This is an amazing opportunity for candidates seeking part-time work to receive $15 hourly pay.

Traffic Control Attendants are responsible for directing street, garage, and driveway traffic to ensure a smooth flow and to avoid backups.

Below are some of the essential functions for the position that may help you decide if this is the position for you:

• Assess and maintain traffic patterns and control in assigned work location
• Direct movement of traffic through entrances/exits using sign and hand signals
• Manage the placement, movement and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones and other traffic control devices
• Be kind and courteous to the traveling public/pedestrians
• Be punctual and consistent in their scheduled duty times and attendance
• Possess flexibility to perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Possess a willingness to stand in assigned location and direct traffic.
• Possess a commitment to attendance and punctuality.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, repetitively hold signs and/or flags, have the ability to use and raise arms to chest height in order to direct traffic.
• Must be physically able to move and place any signage in appropriate location.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to all regulatory, company and departmental policies and procedures.
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions including wind, rain, cold, snow, heat, etc
