Job Description:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Training Coordinator at our Somerset, WI location. Our Training Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the employee training program is compliant and documented according to standards and regulatory requirements.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Acts as an administrator of training system for multiple SMC sites.
  • Serves as a liaison between SMC and training management system vendor in problem-solving.
  • Maintains the employee training database and associated training records.
  • Reports missing employee training to leaders to ensure mandatory training is completed on a timely basis.
  • Supports QMS audit activity as needed.
  • Writes and reviews procedures and instructions regarding the training system.
  • Consults with leaders and regulatory personnel on training requirements.
  • Provides input to audit and inspection findings relating training to ensure effective corrective action is taken.
  • Analyzes training data to ensure continued quality compliance.
  • Deploys training materials for employees.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications

  • A two-year post high school diploma/certificate in a science related field and one year of related experience OR high school education with five years related experience
  • Proven skills in Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and follow-through
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with IQMS or other ERP software system
  • All applicants must be authorized to work in the US

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s of Science Degree
  • Understanding of ISO-13485 or ISO-9001
  • Experience working with FDA requirements

ADA Requirements:

  • Typically sits, grasps items and performs keyboarding for occasional operation of a computer
  • Stand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about occasionally
  • Lift, move, or otherwise transfer items up to 30 lbs. occasionally
  • Occasional exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards
  • Travel by air or car occasionally
