About this opportunity:
Ericsson seeks an Transformation and Strategy Director (Improvement & Perf Dir) in Plano, Texas and various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. who will serve to identify, prioritize, and drive large change and transformation initiatives such as digitization, AI, analytics, automation, standardization, process improvement, restructuring, and new capability development within Market Area North America Networks based on customer and business need.
What you will do:
Work with cross-functional stakeholder teams to analyze, propose, and implement new operating models, scalable processes, organizational changes, and innovative solutions to improve time-to-market for next-generation network technologies, and accelerate value creation with operator and enterprise customers. Support strategy execution and business planning processes, benchmark industry best practices, and assist with the solutioning of internal gaps and inefficiencies in the network services business to improve cost and quality of next-generation network technology rollouts. Analyze customer and competitor offerings, go-to-market strategies, and emerging wireless technology requirements to identify add-on sales, improve margins, and maximize top-line growth opportunities for current portfolio offerings. Structure and break down networks business challenges, develop and pressure-test hypotheses, perform statistical and analytical modeling, create solutions with regional and global stakeholders, and develop high-quality recommendations and deliverables for executive decision-making. Apply Agile methodologies to prioritize, execute, and manage cost and time risks in large, complex, highly cross-functional transformation engagements, advise leadership, and secure commitments for business-critical improvements and investments.
You will bring:
Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field and 4 years of experience in leading multiple strategic operational planning processes, collaborating with executives and organizing cross-functional teams. 4 years of experience to include: conducting operational reviews to identify gaps against the organization’s strategic and long-range goals; analytical modeling techniques to forecast, monitor, and control organizational performance; delivery of high-impact presentations and plans to customers; and technology delivery, including design, development, testing, and maintenance of IT and telecom services.
