RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitors day-to-day transportation operations, including analysis of on-time reports
- Communicate with the logistics team to plan the daily operation and help if needed it
- Update excel and google sheets with proper and accurate information in real-time
- Maintain a high level of professionalism on emails to internal and external customers
- Ensure all the emails get replied to with the appropriate information on time
- Understand and utilize various software programs for internal consultation to review customer shipping information, product weight, and dimensions ( TMS, Salomon, CRM, FedEx, UPS, Microsoft office, and ERP )
- Familiar with the transportation companies, lanes, and lead times
- DOT compliance regulations and experience with import/export operations.
- Intermediate knowledge of Transportation Costing and Motor Carrier Operations
- At least 3 months forklift experience and/or using warehouse distribution equipment
- Scheduling and Routing freight
- Run daily reports to set up the freight board
- Run updates on shipments from previous days
- Prepare administrative and technical documents reports
- Print the proper documentation for Domestic and International shipments double-check to ensure nothing is missing
- Knowledgeable of imports and exports HS codes and USMCA requirements
- Understand the process on how to classify freight class C50-C300
- Knowledgeable of all types of freight and terminology (LTL, PTL, FTL, Intermodal, Hot-Shot, Expedite, etc.)
- Audit carrier billing statements for accuracy and approve
- Able to load and unload trailers using forklift equipment
- Deliver timely reporting from all freight carriers
- Create placards for pallets with the right information like; Order # City, Zip code and carrier
- Maintains office files in the subject and chronological order
- Assists with the audit process of shipments double checking all the requirements for each load
- Cover Supervisor in his absence and ensure all the procedures are followed
- Provide all the statics reports to the Manager
- Ensure orders are closed and correctly manifested daily
- Performs other related duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST be bilingual (Spanish and English)
- Hours 10:00 am- 7:00 pm, Every other Saturday
- Must be certified to drive a forklift
- Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime
- Must be flexible to help other departments if needed, including unloading trailers by hand in a hot or cold environment
- Able to lift 50-75 lbs.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures
- Wear required PPE (personal protective equipment) where needed
- Immediately report any unsafe conditions or other safety-related issues
- Essential level skill in Microsoft Word
- High School diploma or GED
- Tradeshow experience is a plus
