Transportation Manager

$90,000 to $110,000 D.O.E.

ReConserve of Colorado, Inc, Denver has over 80 years of experience -- is the largest, most experienced recycler of bakery, cereal grain, snack foods, and related food by-products in the United States. We provide sanitary, efficient removal and recycling services to the food and feed manufacturing industries nationwide.

Transportation Manager (TM) will oversee CDL Class A Drivers at one grain facility. The facility operates 24/7 from Monday to Friday or as directed by customer needs. The TM will report to the General Manager.

This position will insure full compliance with DOT, as well as manage a variety of delivery activities in an accurate, efficient and cost-effective manner. The successful candidate will manage personnel/office staff, as well as interface with various departments and customers. Customer service and on-time delivery are keys to success.

Requirements:

Requirements:

1) Stable employment history, hiring drivers & owner operators, safety meetings, truck & trailer repair shop

2) 5 or more years of experience managing the transportation functions of a grain/bakery environment

3) High School diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred

4) Knowledge of local, state and federal OSHA safety and DOT transportation regulations preferred

5) Experience with PeopleNet or similar fleet management systems preferred

6) ELD, GPS tracking

7) Experience in hazmat certifications preferred

8) Must be familiar with processing payroll

9) Covid Vaccination is required
