Thorough knowledge of routing software. Knowledge of transportation operations including
federal, state and county laws and policies covering pupil transportation. Extensive knowledge
of area roadways and surface streets. Demonstrated management skills. Ability to work
cooperatively as part of a team. Ability to resolve conflict with tact. Ability to exercise judgment
and make decisions.
Job Summary:
To provide appropriate and efficient routing of school buses and to communicate and
coordinate with school personnel, parents and staff.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Three (3) years experience in transportation administration including supervisory
experience.
3. Experience in handling parent and student conflict and employee discipline,
conferencing and documenting resolution.
4. Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screening.
